Beyond "Too Much": Confessions of an ADHDer
As someone with ADHD, my whole life has consisted of hyperfixations that I feel so deeply. I usually recall past memories by remembering what my hyperfix was at the time LOL. Without something to obsess over I just feel so empty, I need something like that to keep me going. I've been told I can come off too strong, or I'm loud, or I annoy others around me because it's all I want to talk about. But being online and finding a community with others like me has been amazing. I can tweet or make edits about what I'm into, and people who have the same interests as me respond so positively. It's seriously an amazing experience and it makes me so happy. To anyone who fears they may be too much, I promise you aren't. If you can (safely) find a community online with others just like you, it makes all the difference.
